Our Story
It all began when Tarun (the founder of Vortex) realized that his smartwatch was not measuring his VO2 Max correctly, and that made him a little worried about his health. After a visit to his family doctor, he found out that currently, the only way to measure VO2 Max accurately is through sophisticated labs, which are out of reach for most fitness enthusiasts, like himself.

Armed with determination and a commitment to innovation, Tarun gathered a team of passionate engineers, each bringing a unique set of skills to the table. The result was the birth of Vortex, a pioneer in the field of VO2 Max analysis at an affordable price. Vortex is located in the beautiful city of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
